Multitudes came from insights that Lauren had while running Ally Skills NZ (a culture consultancy for tech companies). She’s also worked as COO and advisor to startups in the Middle East and as a management consultant with Bain & Co. in San Francisco. She studied economics, Arabic, and Human Biology at Stanford University.

Previously a Data Engineering Manager at Halter; before that, Emily worked at Rocket Lab, FlexWare, and TradeMe. She studied electronic engineering at the University of Auckland.

Vivek was previously a visiting PhD at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab working on cloud and machine learning 🚀. He’s also completing a PhD in Quantum Computing at the University of Melbourne. In his spare time, he’s Executive Director of The Good Data Institute.

Hazel's previous experience involves working at Maxtel to create software solutions which make hospitality workers' lives easier. She is passionate about creative applications for coding and learning new skills.

Laura has worked as a UX specialist and product designer for many clients in the non-profit and commercial sectors with a focus on designing equitable products for purpose-driven organisations. Alongside her work at Multitudes, she is the Digital Manager of an Aotearoa harm-reduction charity, New Zealand Drug Foundation, and co-creator of Hello Access.

Josh has worked in software for the past several years at NZ tech startups and scaleups including Xero, My Food Bag, Vital, and Cogo. Josh started his career in the New Zealand Defence Force, serving for nine years in the Royal New Zealand Navy and the New Zealand Army. He then spent a number of years working for the United Nations in the Middle East, carrying out humanitarian operations in Gaza, Jordan, and Lebanon. When not writing code at Multitudes, Josh enjoys taking his 15-month old son swimming and trying to grow food in the backyard.

Milena has spent the last decade working in Talent Acquisition, where she led hiring strategies for various tech organisations, helping them scale and grow. Her journey has taken her from France to New Zealand, where she now lives with her partner and daughter. When she's not enjoying time with her family, she writes stories on Medium

Christine has worked in marketing roles at some of New Zealand’s fastest growing Fintech startups, including Hatch and Kernel. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and International Business and hopes to add a psychology qualification into the mix one day. Outside of Multitudes, you’ll find Christine on her yoga (or pilates) mat, hiking one of NZ’s beautiful trails, or planning her next travel adventure!
